Christmas Lights

Did you know that in the 12^th century the first Christmas trees were hung upside from ceilings as a symbol of Christianity? The first decorated tree was in 1510 in Latvia and the 16^th century Martin Luther decorated a tree with candles for children to see how the stars twinkled through the night. The fir tree was the original Christmas tree; according to legend the shape described the Holy Trinity of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Atlanta Botanical Gardens has phenomenal lights I went to with Wendy and Scott.  Wendy and I also visited that Biltmore House one year that was spectacular at Christmas.
